Four Decades of Tungsten Expertise

KENIN's story begins in 1978 with mineral exploration and non-ferrous metal research. Over the following decades, the company evolved from regional resource research into tungsten powder development and, ultimately, a complete cemented carbide manufacturing operation — an integrated path from raw mineral knowledge to advanced, high-performance carbide components.

Our Journey Since 1978

  1. 1978

The predecessor of KENIN, Jiujiang Lushan Mining Co., Ltd., was established, focusing on mineral exploration and non-ferrous metal research.

  2. 1992

The company was renamed Jiujiang Changjiang Non-ferrous Metals Research Institute, specializing in non-ferrous metal exploration and regional resource research in Jiangxi Province.

  3. 1998

Jiujiang KENIN Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established, focusing on tungsten powder materials and advanced processing.

  4. 2002

KENIN established APT calcination, tungsten carburization, and hydrogen reduction workshops, building a complete tungsten powder and tungsten carbide powder production line.

  5. 2004

KENIN established RTP powder, pressing, sintering, blank processing, and precision machining workshops, forming a complete cemented carbide production chain.

  6. Today

KENIN has an annual production capacity of approximately 3,000 tons and serves global industries with high-performance cemented carbide and ultra-fine grain carbide materials.
